Donald Ellis Gallery Catalogue Once again, it has been a privilege to design the gallery’s eleventh annual catalogue, which contains what Donald describes as “among the most extraordinary objects I’ve owned in my 34-year career.” At the New York Winter Antiques Show, which just closed last weekend, the gallery set a record price for Native American art. Two ceremonial masks from the estate of Surrealist painter Enrico Donati were sold for a record $4.6 million. Over the years, the catalogue has helped position the gallery as the pre-eminent dealer in its field. See the Donald Ellis Gallery website >> |
